Former Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi has finally reacted to rumours he snubbed legendary Nigerian musician, 2Face Idibia, at a London club in 2006.
TNN recalls that there have been speculations that Obi snubbed 2Face’s handshake at a club which led to the singer reportedly dissing him in his song, ‘Only Me.’
While 2Face has since debunked the rumours, Obi has been mute until recently.
A fan asked the former Chelsea midfielder if the rumours were true and he replied that nothing as such ever happened, stressing that he is a big fan of 2Face.
“Did you truly snubbed 2face on a club in London back in 06?” the fan asked under a post on Mikel Obi’s Instagram page.
Obi responded: “No I never did. Am a big fan of his. So I wouldn’t do such a thing.” – #2face #MikelObi #News
