The Association of Esan Professionals (AEP) has announced plans to honour Deputy Commissioner of Police, Dr. Patrick Ejedawe, for his outstanding contributions to the development of Esanland and Nigeria.
Investigator news reports that the award ceremony will take place on December 21, 2025, at The Muson Centre in Lagos, and will be live-streamed globally for Esan people in the diaspora.
According to the release signed by the association, the event will commence at 1:00 pm Nigerian time, with simultaneous live streaming for Esan people in the diaspora, including 8:00 am (New York/Canada), 7:00 am (Texas), and 5:00 am (California), ensuring global participation.
In a statement signed on behalf of the Executive Council and entire membership, AEP described DCP Ejedawe as a leader whose sterling leadership qualities, professionalism, and dedication to national security have brought pride to Esanland.
The Association noted that his career in the Nigerian Police Force reflects discipline, integrity, and a deep commitment to public service.
Investigator news gathered that the Association of Esan Professionals, established in 2001, is dedicated to mobilising the intellectual, professional, and leadership capacities of Esan sons and daughters worldwide to confront challenges such as poverty, illiteracy, insecurity, and underdevelopment in their homeland.
Through strategic engagement and recognition of excellence, AEP continues to inspire service-driven leadership and community development.
The award ceremony will also feature the recognition of other distinguished Esan sons and daughters, carefully selected from across the world, in line with the Association’s tradition of celebrating excellence and impactful service.
AEP expressed pride in DCP Ejedawe’s invaluable contributions to the growth and development of Esanland, describing the honour as a reflection of the Association’s appreciation of leaders who embody service, sacrifice, and commitment to societal progress.
The Association, which was established in 2001,is aimed to mobilise Esan professionals to contribute to the development of their homeland.
Other distinguished Esan sons and daughters will also be recognised at the event for their excellence and impactful service.
