  • POLITICS IS LOCAL

    POLITICS IS LOCAL

    By Segun Oyegbemile.

“All Politics is Local” is a saying attributed to KOK and OBE political mechanisms adopted over time. Meaning that even seemingly national issues can be understood and impacted by focusing on local concerns.

It highlights the importance of understanding the specific circumstances and priorities of a particular area in order to effectively engage in politics.

When it comes to the scheme of politics, you have to relax your muscles and learn from the cognitive; talking about the men not boys, who understand the dynamics.

The results that are ensuing from the TMM camp are well calculated, not prejudiced nor a day job. Its about leadership acumen, perseverance, sincerity of purpose, accountability and ultimately, integrity.

It’s a Herculean task though, to build a formidable structure with card-carrying members and still keep and maintain the structure till date.

If anyone deems fit to learn the rope, consult KOK and OBE, ask how they made it thus far? Tolerance is the master key, and God Almighty the inspiration!

My fellow, Party people, watch out: the end justifies the means.

Note: we are blood brothers in this polygamous family (APC) with different mothers, however, lets abstain from hate speech, vendetta and other vices alike, sooner than later, we shall come back home together under the same roof to build a fortress, defend our home and launch attack against our political adversaries in the secondary Elections – in this, we shall record a flawless victory.

Whatever the outcome, be it Direct or Indirect primaries, no victor nor vanquished, we are winning together.
Therefore, we must pull resources together to rally support for our flag-bearers; both chairmanship and councilorship candidates of our esteemed party, All Progressives Congress (APC)

Without sentiment or favouritism, these duo (KOK and OBE) are amongst a handful of leaders who are not hesitant to go to the field to test their popularity and structural strength because they have sincerely labored for the Party over the years.

Amongst members in the TMM, hundreds of foot-soldiers are made who also possess the capacity to mobilize a bevy of card-carrying followers because they have been trained and imbued with the strategies of Omoluabi (virtues) – one of whom I happened to be one!

Habib Anibaba is our choice for chairmanship in Ejigbo LCDA, he has the clout and popularity, tested and confirmed. If anyone is sceptical, I dare aver, Anibaba is not afraid to go to the field for Primaries.
