    The Baale of Era-Awori Town, Chief Olumide Akinsoji Erinle, has commended the Executive Chairman of Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area, Hon. Kareem Azeez Abiodun, for his efforts in renovating the Adaloko Town Hall.

    The renovated town hall was commissioned by Chief Erinle, who praised the Chairman’s commitment to community development.

    According to Chief Erinle, he stated that the project is more than a building but a new center for unity, dialogue, growth and progress for our people,”.

    “Your monumental effort in rehabilitating this town hall in Adaloko and giving a new facelift stands as a shining testament to purposeful leadership.”

    He noted that the town hall will be a legacy that will serve generations to come, demonstrating the Chairman’s passion for the welfare of his constituents.

    Investigator news reports that the commissioning ceremony was attended by other dignitaries, including council officials, community leaders and residents of Adaloko.

    The renovation of the Adaloko Town Hall is part of the Oto-Awori LCDA’s efforts to improve infrastructure and provide better facilities for residents of the area.

    The project is expected to boost economic activity and improve the overall quality of life for the people of Adaloko.

    Hon. Kareem Azeez Abiodun, Chairman of Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area, has been commended for his outstanding performance in delivering quality education infrastructure, a new interlocked footbridge walkway in Ese-Ofin, and numerous achievements within his first 100 days in office.

    Speaking at the General Assembly of Asejere Movement, Abiodun highlighted the progress made, but emphasized that more work needs to be done, particularly in addressing the issue of accessible roads.

    “The major challenge is accessible roads, and we are working on all the data available so that we can begin to work on some of these roads to achieve the same feat in 100 days,” he said.

    He revealed that the Era-Cele link road project is ongoing, and plans are underway to establish parks and garages to alleviate traffic congestion at Iyana-Era bus stop.

    Abiodun also announced plans to procure a mini bus to assist pregnant women in accessing healthcare services, and to upgrade Council assets across all wards, stating that this initiative aims to reduce the challenges faced by pregnant women in accessing healthcare services, particularly those living in hard-to-reach areas.

    He promised to continue working tirelessly to develop the community and empower the people.

    “We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that our community is developed and our people are empowered,” he stated.

    Investigator news gathered that the Asejere Movement has welcomed Abiodun’s commitment to improving the lives of Oto-Awori LCDA residents, and is optimistic that he will deliver on his promises.

    The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed the 2026 PDP National Convention as a “political obsequies” for a once-dominant party now in irreversible decline.

    The event, which was boycotted by notable PDP leaders, including incumbent state governors and delegates from thirteen states was marked by confusion, desperation, and a lack of quorum,a testament to the PDP’s terminal decline,underscoring the party’s loss of grip on the nation’s political landscape.

    According to the APC Spokesman,Mogaji (Hon.) Oluseye Olaniran Oladejo,he stated that the PDP’s convention was a charade that highlighted the party’s ideological emptiness, leadership rot, and inability to provide a viable alternative to the ruling APC.

    “What transpired was nothing but a charade – a poorly scripted show of confusion and desperation, an embarrassment to the political class, and a new low for an erstwhile national party that once wore the toga of invincibility and gripped the nation’s political space by the jugular.Those glory days are clearly over.”

    “Most telling, however, was the conspicuous boycott by notable leaders of the PDP, including incumbent state governors, whose absence spoke louder than any communiqué or resolution.”

    “Their refusal to attend the non-event underscored what Nigerians have long suspected – that the PDP is terminally ill, surviving only on occasional media noise and nostalgic delusions. When a house is collapsing, even its architects flee.

    “To deepen the absurdity, it is ridiculous – and profoundly revealing – that as many as delegates from thirteen states stayed away entirely from the confusion christened a national convention.”

    “When a party’s own delegates choose absence over association, the diagnosis is clear: the patient is not just unwell; it is clinically unresponsive.”he said.

    Mogaji Oladejo went further to state that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) also refused to monitor the event,dealing a final blow to the PDP’s credibility.

    “The refusal of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to monitor the event put a final seal on the exercise in futility.”

    “When the nation’s electoral umpire declines to acknowledge your convention, what remains is nothing but a political gathering stripped of legitimacy, relevance, and meaning.”he stated

    He opined that rather than the party confront its deep-rooted failures – leadership rot, ideological emptiness, and years of humiliating electoral defeats – the PDP again had a valedictory service, otherwise called a convention, which provided an opportunity for the caricature of its dwindling membership to gather and formally say their nunc dimittis.

    ” For many, this was not a convention but a dignified farewell to a political structure that has outlived its usefulness.”

    “What should have symbolised renewal instead confirmed that the party is fast approaching its political expiration date.”

    “Worse still, the PDP has now become a danger to our nascent democracy – not because it is strong, but because it has failed woefully to provide the vibrant, responsible, and constructive opposition that can add value, strengthen accountability, and present Nigerians with a viable alternative.”

    “A democracy without credible opposition is weakened; and the PDP, in its current comatose state, offers nothing but noise without substance.”Mogaji Oladejo submitted.

    The APC stated that the PDP is terminally ill, surviving only on media noise and nostalgic delusions, and that its internal disarray has written a preface to its political obituary.

    “Today’s PDP is no longer a national institution – it is a refuge for internally displaced politicians, career defectors, and political daydreamers struggling for survival. Nigerians are not confused: a party that cannot manage itself cannot offer leadership to a nation.”

    “As the dust settles, one question confronts the PDP and its sympathizers:Was this truly a convention, or the formal burial of a fading political empire?”

    “Whatever the answer, Nigerians have made their choice – progress under the APC, not nostalgia under a PDP drifting toward oblivion.”

    The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed, with well-deserved contempt, the latest political hallucination from Rotimi Amaechi, who now claims Nigerians should “mobilise” because President Bola Ahmed Tinubu can be defeated in 2027.

    Amaechi is free to dream, but he must stop mistaking his nightmares for national reality.

    A Man Declared Political Non-Grata Wants to Lead a National Mobilisation?

    Let us start with the obvious:

    Amaechi is a political orphan – disowned in Rivers, irrelevant nationally, and steadily sinking into total political oblivion.

    In Rivers State today, mentioning Amaechi’s name in political discussions is viewed as a provocative joke.

    A man who has lost his structure, lost his followers, and lost his voice has suddenly found the courage to lecture Nigerians on how to “mobilise.”

    Mobilise who?

    • The few loyalists left in his WhatsApp group?

    • Politicians who abandoned him the moment he lost the presidential primaries?

    • The same Rivers electorate that no longer take him seriously?

    You cannot lead a national movement when your own backyard has padlocked the gate against you.

    Amaechi’s Political Bitterness Is Not a National Agenda

    The truth Amaechi avoids is simple:

    his problem is not Tinubu – his problem is political irrelevance.

    It is always the loudest losers who shout the most about 2027.

    And Amaechi’s noise is nothing more than the wounded cry of someone who has not healed from the humiliation of 2022.

    Tinubu Is Delivering – And That’s Why 2027 Is Not Up for Debate

    While Amaechi is busy trying to resurrect his collapsed career, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing the actual work of rebuilding a nation:

    • NELFUND unlocking education for millions

    • CREDITCORP boosting SMEs nationwide

    • Record FDI interest from Qatar, UAE, Europe and the Ogunlesi-led group

    • Highway, rail, port and aviation modernization on an unprecedented scale

    • Agriculture, mining and security reforms stabilising Nigeria’s future

    This is why even opposition voters now admit – privately, though grudgingly – that Tinubu is miles ahead of any contender.

    Amaechi Cannot Preach Mobilisation Without a Platform

    The question Nigerians should ask Amaechi is simple:

    Where is your political structure?

    Where are your followers?

    Where is your relevance?

    In politics, you cannot give what you don’t have.

    Amaechi cannot mobilise a nation when he cannot command a polling unit.

    Tinubu’s 2027 Victory Is Not a Possibility – It Is an Unfolding Reality

    Amaechi’s sudden activism is a familiar script:

    failed politicians always imagine a revolution when they can no longer win elections.

    But Nigerians know better.

    2027 will not reward bitterness, betrayal or political tourism.

    It will reward leadership, courage and results.

    And Tinubu has all three in abundance.

    Final Word:

    Amaechi Should First Mobilise Himself Out of Political Obscurity

    Nigerians are not fooled.

    You don’t defeat a performing President with a disgruntled politician who has lost his home, his base, and his relevance.

    Amaechi’s statement is not a rallying cry – it is a cry for help.

    Tinubu cannot be defeated.

    Amaechi cannot be resurrected.

    End of story.

    While I now step aside from my official role, I hold in high regard the NNPP, its leadership, and its unwavering pursuit of a better Nigeria.     ABEOKUTA, Nigeria — November 11, 2025:

    The Ogun State Youth Leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Hon. Funso Jide Adekunle, has formally resigned from his position, citing “personal conviction and reflection” as reasons for his decision to step aside from active leadership within the party.

    In his resignation letter dated Tuesday, November 11, 2025, and addressed to the NNPP State Chairman, Adekunle (A.k.A Honourable Fushi) announced that his decision was reached “after deep and sincere reflection,” describing it as “a step of conscience and purpose” aimed at pursuing new political directions.

    “This decision, borne out of personal interest and conviction, comes after deep and sincere reflection. It is a step of conscience and purpose, intended to allow me to pursue new directions and aspirations within the wider political space,” he stated.

    Adekunle, who also previously served as Ogun East Senatorial Chairman of the NNPP, emphasised that his resignation was not connected to any form of disagreement or dissatisfaction with the party’s leadership, describing his experience as “an honour and a defining period” in his political journey.

    “My decision is purely personal and not a result of any grievance or dissatisfaction with the leadership or structure of our great party. Serving in dual capacities as both the Ogun State Youth Leader and the Former Ogun East Senatorial Chairman of the NNPP has been an honour and a defining period in my political journey,” he said.

    The youthful politician, who represented the NNPP as its candidate for the Ogun State House of Assembly, Ijebu Ode Constituency, during the 2023 general elections, expressed deep gratitude to the party for what he termed “a rare privilege to serve and learn.”

    “That experience not only deepened my understanding of public service but also reaffirmed my commitment to progressive democratic ideals,” Adekunle added.

    He recalled his tenure as Ogun East Senatorial Chairman, noting that the role provided him the opportunity to mobilise youths and grassroots supporters for the NNPP’s vision of a new Nigeria built on equity, justice, and accountable leadership.

    “Through my service as Ogun East Senatorial Chairman, I was privileged to work with dedicated leaders and grassroots members who shared a common passion for building a stronger NNPP. Together, we advanced the cause of the party and promoted the vision of a New Nigeria,” he reflected.

    While stepping aside from his role, Adekunle maintained that he still holds the NNPP in high regard and wishes the party continued success in its democratic pursuits.

    “I leave with no ill will, only gratitude and respect for the opportunities, experiences, and partnerships that have shaped my political growth within the party. I sincerely appreciate the State Executive Working Committee, Local Government Executives, Ward Leaders, and the entire membership of the NNPP for their trust, cooperation, and solidarity throughout my time of service,” he affirmed.

    Although Adekunle did not disclose his next political move, sources close to the NNPP youth wing in Ogun State suggested that his resignation might mark the beginning of a new political alignment ahead of the 2027 general elections.

    Party insiders hinted that Adekunle’s calm and consultative style of leadership made him one of the respected figures among the NNPP’s youth base in the state, particularly during the buildup to the 2023 elections.

    The Executive Chairman of Òdì-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon. Seyi Jakande, has commissioned the newly rehabilitated Adegboyega and Adelakun Streets,marking a significant milestone in his HEWA agenda.

    The event was attended by residents, community leaders, and dignitaries, who praised Jakande’s commitment to transforming their neighborhood.

    In his address, Jakande emphasized that the road project was not just about infrastructure, but about dignity and improving the quality of life for resident, noting that the road project was a campaign promise fulfilled.

    He urged the community to take responsibility for maintaining the roads and assured them that the materials used would ensure their longevity.

    “This isn’t just about roads—it’s about dignity. It’s about ensuring our children don’t miss school during the rains, our traders aren’t stranded, and our elderly can move freely. This is a collective victory for Òdì-Olowo.”

    “The quality of materials used will ensure these roads last long,” he assured the crowd

    Chief Imam Rafiu Ajibola of Adegboyega Street praised the chairman for the benefits his leadership has brought to the street in his first 100 days.

    Also Pastor Akinsanya, a resident of Adelakun Street, passionately highlighted Jakande’s proactive leadership, emphasizing his achievements during this period.

    Elders and members of the Community Development Association (CDA) commended the chairman for his commitment to the community,stressing that hard work begets more work, while praying for God’s strength for him.

    They urged the chairman to focus on street beautification, particularly at night.

    Other residents also expressed their gratitude.

    Mrs. Aisha Ogunleye,a local trader, said”These roads have changed everything! No more potholes, no more vehicles stuck in mud. Seyi Jakande kept his word.”

    Another resident, reflecting on the legacy of the Jakande family, expressed, “The Jakande legacy lives on. This is what we voted for.

    For Mr. Thompson Igri, the new Chairman of Road Enforcement in Adegboyega, thanked Jakande for the good job.

    Highlighting the historical significance of the event, he noted that the last road construction in the area was completed in 1982 by late Alhaji Lateef Jakande, the first Executive Governor of Lagos State.

    In his words, “A lion must give birth to a lion,” affirming that Jakande’s father’s legacy continues in Hon Seyi Jakande’s bold governance.

    He expressed no surprise at the progress made in just 100 days, suggesting it was unique to the Jakande’s leadership.

    Investigator news reports that the projects feature durable asphalt, clear lane markings, and pedestrian-friendly sidewalks, and are part of the phase one projects totaling 14 roads.

    Jakande assured that more roads, drainage, and public spaces would be tackled in the community, with no one left behind.

    Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has been declared the winner of the Anambra State governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

    In his first public address after the declaration, Governor Soludo extended a hand of fellowship to his 15 opponents, praising the democratic process and the high voter turnout that characterized the election.

    Soludo thanked the people of Anambra for placing their trust in his leadership, stating, “This victory is a collective achievement that reflects the aspirations of our citizens. I am profoundly grateful for the support received from every corner of Anambra State.”

    The Governor remarked that this marks the third time a governor has been re-elected in Anambra State, highlighting that his administration received support from 98 percent of the wards.

    He expressed enthusiasm about the future, stating, “You have not seen anything yet. With this trust, in partnership with ndị Anambra, we will do more.”

    Soludo acknowledged President Tinubu, emphasizing the importance of letting the votes count and recognizing the voices of the people.

    He expressed his appreciation to INEC for their forthrightness and noted that the improvements seen in the August bye-election in Anambra may indicate better days ahead.

    The Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to addressing the challenges facing the state, including improving infrastructure, enhancing security, and creating economic opportunities for all citizens.

    “The journey begins now, and I am dedicated to ensuring that every resident of Anambra feels the positive impact of our governance,” he stated.

    As celebrations erupted among his supporters, Governor Soludo’s call for unity was seen as a pivotal moment in promoting political diplomacy and stability in the state.

    Senator Anyanwu–led NWC Announces Counter-Suspension On Damagum,Ologunagba,Others.

     The crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has escalated, as the Senator Samuel Anyanwu–led National Working Committee (NWC) announced the counter-suspension of the party’s National Chairman, Umar Damagum, citing alleged incompetence, misappropriation of party funds, and pursuit of personal interests.

    Also suspended are the National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, and the Deputy National Chairman (South), Taofeek Arapaja, among others.

    According to Senator Anyanwu, all the suspended officers will be referred to the party’s disciplinary committee for further action.

    The announcement by Anyanwu comes shortly after the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, announced his suspension as the party’s National Secretary by the NWC.

    Others suspended alongside Anyanwu are the National Legal Adviser, Kamaldeen Ajibade; Deputy Legal Adviser, Okechukwu Osuoha; and National Organizing Secretary, Umaru Bature for one month.

    The suspension comes on the heels of the judgement of the Federal High Court On Friday, which stopped the party’s planned national convention.

    Ologunagba had told journalists in Abuja on Saturday that the decision followed an emergency meeting of the national working committee, which was held in Abuja.

    He noted that the suspended party officials have been referred to the National Disciplinary Committee.

    He said that during this period of the suspension, they cease to function in their respective capacities.

    According to him, in the case of the National Secretary, Pursuant to Section 36(2) of the PDP Constitution as amended in 2017, the Deputy National Secretary, Hon. Arc. Setonji Koshoedo shall act as the National Secretary.

    He added that in the case of the National Legal Adviser and the Deputy National Legal Adviser, the National Director of Legal Services has been directed to oversee the activities of the Department.

    Investigator news reports that the move is seen as a counter-reaction to the earlier suspension of Senator Anyanwu and other party officials by the NWC.

    The suspended officials include the National Legal Adviser, Kamaldeen Ajibade; Deputy Legal Adviser, Okechukwu Osuoha; and National Organizing Secretary, Umaru Bature
