NASFAT President Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf in a congratulatory message signed by Alhaji Shamsideen Owolabi Oseni, the National Public Relations Secretary,Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society praised her leadership, integrity, and commitment to people-centered governance.

Lending his voice, the Chief Missioner Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike offered prayers for her renewed strength, wisdom, and longevity, while National Women Affairs Secretary Alhaja Ganiyat Omowunmi Babalola celebrated her dedication to inclusive development, mentorship, and inspiration.

The President of the Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), Alhaji (Dr) Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, has applauded the outstanding success of the Society’s 8th Biennial General Conference (BGC) held at the NAF Conference Centre, Kado, Abuja.

In his post-Conference remarks, Dr. AbdulRauf expressed heartfelt appreciation to all stakeholders, CPC/LOC members, delegates, scholars, and participants whose dedication, discipline, and sacrifices ensured the smooth planning and flawless execution of the Conference.

He commended the Chief Missioner of NASFAT, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, for providing profound spiritual leadership throughout the Conference.

He noted that the quality of lectures, prayers, and reflections significantly strengthened the Society’s da’wah mission, moral focus, and sense of brotherhood among members.

The NASFAT President highlighted that under the current administration, the Society has attained a five-star institutional excellence built on strategic clarity, transparent governance, disciplined execution, and values-driven leadership.

He added that resolutions reached at the Conference further strengthen NASFAT’s resolve to progress toward a seven-star standard of excellence.

He also acknowledged the immense contributions of the BOT Chairman, Alhaji AbdulLateef Olawale Olasupo; the Chairman of the National Council of Elders, Alhaji Yunus Olalekan Saliu, represented by the Secretary, Alhaja Nofisat Arogundade; and the National Women Affairs Secretary, Alhaja Ganiyat Omowunmi Babalola, for their steadfast support.

Dr. AbdulRauf equally appreciated the Guest Lecturer, Dr. Nurudeen Lemu, whose thought-provoking presentation challenged delegates to deepen ethical leadership, social responsibility, and national cohesion, while translating faith into practical societal impact.

In a separate tribute, the NASFAT President expressed sincere appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his continued commitment to national unity and peaceful coexistence.

He particularly acknowledged the President’s presence at the Conference through his representative, Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, whose message reinforced harmony among Nigerians.

Lagos,Nigeria -The Fire Grace and Mercy Restoration Ministry, Ijegun Lagos,a prominent Christian congregation,on Sunday 30,November 2025,held its annual thanksgiving service, marking a momentous occasion to express gratitude to God for His faithfulness and blessings throughout the year 2025.

The event, which was attended by Eze Ambassador Dr C.C. Nwokedi, Chairman Council of Ndieze, Lagos State,members of his Cabinet,Ohaneze Ndigbo and Igbo Speaking community, Ijegun and Ijedodo, friends, members of the congregation and special guests,was a vibrant celebration of music, praise, and worship.

It was an exciting moment as the Chairman Council of Ndieze Lagos State,Eze Ambassador Nwokedi had his annual thanksgiving and worship service with members of his family and cabinet members.

Investigator news reports that Eze Nwokedi presented gift items to thank God for His mercies and protection through the years.

Welcoming members of this year’s thanksgiving,the General Overseer Fire Grace and Mercy Restoration Ministry (Arena of Holy Ghost), Pastor Ambassador Dr Tessy Nwokedi encouraged the congregation to continue to trust in God’s goodness and sovereignty, citing numerous testimonies of answered prayers and breakthroughs experienced by members of the church throughout the year.

She also reminded the congregation that thanksgiving is a crucial aspect of the Christian walk, and that it is essential to acknowledge and appreciate God’s hand in our lives.

The guest speaker,Pastor Emmanuel Ugochukwu Ndieze from Owerri,Imo State,who delivered a powerful message on the harvest theme”Thanksgiving of all around divine rest”He encouraged Christians to embrace a renewed spirit of worship and thanksgiving, emphasizing the importance of faith and devotion.

Pastor Emmanuel who spoke on the topic “Consciousness of grateful heart” emphasised that Christians should give, in humility, cheerfully, willingly, in righteousness and honourably.

He described harvest and thanksgiving gathering as a very important moment in the life of Christians to come to God in thanksgiving for their blessings, stating that those who know their God shall be strong and will do exploit.”doing everything according to knowledge of God is the key to every success”he said.

He explained that giving thanks to God opens the door for more blessings as he encouraged everyone to develop a heart of giving both to the church and to humanity because giving is a way of showing love and obedience to God.

During the Thanksgiving service proper,Eze Nwokedi explained that for the past 20 years on every last Sunday of November,  he usually goes to Church for thanksgiving, to show gratitude to God, thanking Him for what He has done in his life by lifting him from nowhere.

The celebrant, Eze Nwokedi, beaming with joy as he shared his testimony, praising God for His faithfulness and goodness. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to God for the many blessings and privileges he has enjoyed, including his family, friends, and successful endeavors.

He stated that those who do not sow into the lives of people should not expect so much from God, stating that reaping of a harvest depends on your commitment to God and your earthly endeavors to man through selfless services.

Nwokedi urged those in attendance to always remember the goodness of God and to continue to trust in His sovereignty and providence.

Friends and well wishers who turned up e-mass to commemorate Eze Chika Nwokedi’s event of annual thanksgiving expressed gratitude to God almighty for the sustenance of life and protection upon Eze Nwokedi and family.

Speaking with newsmen,the Chairman Igbo-speaking community in Ikotun/Igando, Comrade Chief Okechukwu Uzegbuelam appreciated God in the life of Eze Nwokedi who have taken upon himself to always thank God on the last Sunday of November.

” I feel excited and appreciate HRH Eze Ambassador Dr C.C. Nwokedi for always having a day aside to thank God almighty and we members of the Igbo Speaking community in Ikotun Igando is happy to have him within our domain because his presence has motivated a lot of things as he has also giving a sense of direction of what leadership is all about.”he said.

Chief Okechukwu who is also the youth leader of Igbo Speaking community Lagos State encourage every individual to always develop a heart of giving both to God almighty and the less privilegeed in the society .

Lending his voice, Chief Gabriel Nwankwo described Eze Nwokedi as a “crazy giver”and one who loves the things of God .

Speaking with newsmen after the thanksgiving,Eze Nwokedi who is the Eze Ndigbo of Ijegun and Ijedodo community stated that the essence of the annual thanksgiving which he has been doing for the past 20 years was to thank God almighty for the gift of life given to him and members of his family.

“I always thank God when I was not even the Eze Ndigbo of Ijegun and Ijedodo and I have been doing this for the past 20 years and for over 3 years now I have been celebrating it together with members of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Igbo Speaking community and Igbo-Buru-Otu.”he stated

 

Eze Nwokedi, a prominent figure,expressed his gratitude to God for His mercies and protection, citing these as the driving forces behind his thanksgiving celebration, while recounting the many ways in which God has seen him through challenging times and brought him to a place of victory and triumph.

He stated that the desire to always thank God specially every year started in Cross Mountain of Solution Church,Roman Catholic church, Christian Pentecostal Mission,Rhema Church and presently Fire Grace and Mercy Restoration Ministry.

Speaking on the title attached to his name Eze Ambassador Dr (Prophet) Chika .C. Nwokedi,he noted that his birth was significant as he was born a year and four months and members of his family called him ” Chikadibia,God is greater than the greatest native doctor” and they saw that he was a special child with a special spiritual gifts.

The philanthropist opined that he would be celebrating the widows and less privileged on December 13 as he intends to bless them with food items and various gifts so that they can celebrate xmas with their families.

He encouraged everyone to cultivate a heart of thanksgiving, even in challenging times, and to always trust in God’s sovereignty and plan for their lives.

The momentous occasion was filled with gratitude and praise as the congregation reflected on God’s unwavering faithfulness and grace as the thanksgiving service was a lively and uplifting experience, with music and prayers for the nation.

 

The event was attended by many notable personalities, including community leaders, business associates, and close friends, all of whom came to show their support and congratulate Nwokedi on his blessings.

The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has expressed its deep sorrow over the passing of Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, a revered scholar and distinguished supporter of the society.

In a statement signed by the National Public Relations Secretary, Alhaji Shamsideen Owolabi Oseni described Sheikh Bauchi as a guiding light whose teachings touched countless lives with wisdom and compassion.

The President of NASFAT, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, extended heartfelt condolences to the family, students, and associates of the late Sheikh, praying that Allah grants them strength, patience, and comfort during this moment of profound loss and reflection.

“Innalillahi Wa’inna Ilaihi Rajiun. The news of his passing brings immense sorrow to all who benefited from his scholarship and leadership.”

“His legacy will continue to inspire generations of Muslims seeking knowledge and spiritual growth across Nigeria and beyond.” he said

The society went further to pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, accepts his good deeds, and grants him Jannatul Firdaus, the highest abode of eternal peace.

Chief Missioner of NASFAT, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, also offers prayers for the departed scholar. He implores Allah to envelop Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi in His infinite mercy and bless his family with resilience as they uphold his enduring legacy.

Muslim women across the country have been urged to be good role models to their children in order not to be swayed by any negative influence and deviate from the path of Islam.

The guest speaker Prof.Bidemi Bilikis Lafiaji-Okuneye,Vice Chancellor Lagos State University of Education Oto/Ijanikin gave this advice during the Grand finale of the 26th NASFAT Annual Women’s Week held at the NAFSAT Islamic Center Assese,Ogun State on Sunday 19, October 2025.

 

Speaking on the theme “Rooted in Faith, Rising with Vision: Muslim Women Transforming The World”Prof Bidemi who was represented at the event by the Secretary for the Nation’s Board of Muslim Society,Imam Raji urged mothers to guide their children on what to do and what not to do through their (mothers) actions, dressings, conversations, religious practices and others, stating that Islam is a complete way of life which is not against any culture but has laid out principles for everything positive as far as life is concerned.

“Islam has provided a good foundation to seek knowledge right from the era of the Prophet Muhammad. Islamic knowledge encompasses every knowledge that will promote the consciousness of humanity to worship Allah,” Prof.Bidemi said.

She noted that women has greater influence on their children than the male, noting that if the parents especially mothers take care of their children,teach them the way of Allah and Prophet Muhammad,the world would be a better place.

 

Earlier, the National Women Affairs Secretary,Alhaja Ganiyat Omowumi Babalola in her welcome address said that the annual women’s week which is a remarkable tradition unites NAFSAT women across the globe to celebrate achievements, promote Islamic values, and advance the empowerment of women in faith and purpose.

She stated that this year’s theme “Rooted in Faith, Rising with Vision: Muslim Women Transforming The World “celebrates the enduring strength, resilience and transformative power of Muslim women especially women who holds firmly to faith while fearlessly shaping their communities and the world at large.

Alhaja Babalola went further to highlight some of the achievements already recorded by the women society which include furnishing the female section of the NASFAT Islamic Center Masjid which is 60% completed.

She emphasized that this year’s target is to raise N500,000,000 for the establishment of a Women Development Center which will include A Skill Acquisition Center,A 50-bed Hostel,A Transit Home for Female Victims of Gender Based Violence (GBV) and donation of a Dawah Coaster Bus to enhance our outreach and humanitarian activities.

The National Women Affairs Secretary, Alhaja Babalola appreciated the National Women Management Committee,the National President, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, Chief Missioner,Imam Moruf Abdul Azeez Onike,Assese Women’s Project Committee led by Alhaja Kubura Lanre Lawal , NASFAT women from different zones and groups, stating that their selfless service, regular contributions and spiritual commitment are the true pillars of the women’s success.

The National President, NASFAT, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf in his remark pointed out that Muslim women are an important thread in the fabric of society;and perhaps,most importantly they are empowered and not oppressed by the religion.

Alhaji Ayodeji who was ably represented by the 1st Vice President,Engr Kamar Bolaji Olawuyi noted that the gathering symbolizes not just a mere congregation of individuals or young women but a convergence of hearts ,minds and aspirations, united in the shared commitment to strengthening NASFAT Women Committee through knowledge impacts and Islamic values with resilience, wisdom and faith.

He advised mother’s to raise daughters who will be judge on the trails they blaze rather than the fashionable blazers they wear.

“We want our daughters to live in a reality where they can confidently say that smart is better than cute,in which they see the beauty that exists within themselves and refuse to succumb to a definition of womanhood that stigmatizes their dignity and strength “.

“You ,as Muslim women owe it to yourself and to your future generations to fulfill the sanctity of our relationship with Allah (SWT).”he said

Alhaji Ayodeji urged the young girls to follow the footsteps of their mothers,live a modest life by making use of their hijabs to protect their aura, lower their gazes, protect their chastity, cover their adornments and turn away from allurement of the world.

The Chairman of the occasion Chief Nurudeen Adeoye Oyetunde commended the NASFAT women for their commitment and dedication in ensuring that they empower women in the society,while pledging his support in ensuring that the women achieve their goal in promoting the message of Islam.

Investigator news reports that this year’s women’s week commenced on the 12th of October with a beautiful blend of spirituality, empowerment, and service to humanity as Over 3,000 women registered to participate in various activities both virtually and physically ensuring inclusiveness for children, youths and the elderly alike.

The One week long activities featured a wide range of Impactful programs such as empowerment and skill acquisition, community outreach and welfare, celebration of the elderly and widows, health advocacy, spiritual and youth engagement,walk fitness and trade fair.

Goodwill messages from the Chairman National Council of Elders, Alhaji Yunus Olalekan Saliu who was represented by his Secretary extend his warm felicitations to the leadership and members of the Nasrul-Lahi-L- Faith Society (NASFAT) women’s wing on the momentous occasion of the 26th Annual NASFAT women’s week.

He urged the women to intensify efforts in promoting the girl child education so as to secure a brighter and better future for their daughters which will equip them with the ability and capacity to make significant contributions to the economy and help in achieving greater gender parity in leadership roles, empowerment of women and championing sustainable development so as to ensure a better world for generations to come.
