    Time to end war against Christians in Nigeria – CCYF to global leaders

    The Concerned Christian Youth Forum (CCYF) has called on world leaders, international human rights bodies, and faith-based organizations to break their silence and take decisive action against what it described as the “ongoing Christian genocide” in Nigeria.

    In a strongly worded statement, the group declared that the killings, abductions, and persecution of Christians across the country can no longer be ignored or downplayed, accusing certain elements of attempting to distort the truth and shield the perpetrators.

    “The world is silently watching the unfolding tragedy of the Christian genocide in Nigeria,” the statement read. “We, the Concerned Christian Youth Forum, stand with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and other courageous voices who have consistently cried out for justice. The blood of innocent Christians is crying for truth.”

    The forum noted that from 2010 till date, thousands of Christians have been brutally killed, with churches, pastors, and entire communities targeted, yet the global response has been muted.

    “Even President Bola Tinubu, long before assuming office, joined others in condemning the killings,” the statement added.

    “Today, as international attention mounts, the world must not continue to look away.”

    The CCYF also praised recent global reactions, including the actions of senators from various countries and fans of Romania’s national football team, who recently displayed a banner in solidarity with persecuted Nigerian Christians during a World Cup qualifier match.

    “Their bold display of support shows the world is beginning to wake up,” the group stated. “It is becoming increasingly difficult to deny or ignore the appalling reality of this genocide.”

    The youth forum, however, condemned those it described as “paid propagandists” trying to twist the narrative for political gain.

    “To these individuals, we say: your lies will not stand,” CCYF warned. “The truth will prevail, and those who attempt to deny this genocide will one day be remembered as complicit in crimes against humanity.”

    The statement appealled to the United Nations, the African Union, and Western governments to take urgent steps to stop the killings and bring the perpetrators to justice.

    “Silence is no longer neutrality, it is complicity,” CCYF declared. “The time to end the silent war against Christians in Nigeria is now.”

    The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) proudly announces its 26th Annual Women’s Week Celebration, a remarkable convergence of faith, purpose, and progress.

    The celebration is scheduled to hold from Sunday, October 12 to Sunday, October 19, 2025.

    This year’s theme, “Rooted in Faith, Rising with Vision: Muslim Women Transforming the World,” encapsulates the courage, resilience, and divine wisdom of the Muslim woman.

    It celebrates her strength as a nurturer, her role as a reformer, and her position as a catalyst for global transformation.

    The NASFAT Women Management Committee (WMC), through this annual event, continues to champion leadership, empowerment, da’wah, and humanitarian service.

    With over 360 branches worldwide, NASFAT’s women remain an inspiring force—building bridges of faith and knowledge across communities and generations.

    Highlights of the week include a Women’s Trade Fair, Qur’an Recitation and Quiz Competitions, Skill Acquisition Workshops on “Waste to Wealth”, Health Screening in partnership with the Rotary Club Ikeja, and a Walk Against Gender-Based Violence, aligning with the global “UNITE to End Digital Violence” campaign.

    This year’s projects include furnishing the Female Section of the NASFAT Islamic Centre Masjid, now 60% completed, and raising ₦500,000,000 for a Women’s Development Centre at Aseese, Ogun State—featuring a Skill Acquisition Hub, 50-bed Hostel, and Transit Home for “female victims of gender based violence.”

    A Fundraising Luncheon will hold on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at High Point Event Centre, Alausa, Ikeja, followed by a Grand Finale on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the NASFAT Islamic Centre, Aseese.

    Beyond the celebration, NASFAT sustains its impact through Silver Lining for Women and Children’s Support Initiative (SILWIN), providing scholarships, orphan care, and start-up support for women and youths.

    NASFAT calls on governments, corporate bodies, and kind-hearted individuals to partner in this divine mission—because when women rise with faith, the world ascends with them.

    As Nigeria celebrates its 65th Independence Anniversary, the Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has announced a nationwide and global prayer initiative dedicated to the nation’s peace, unity, and progress.

    In a release signed by the National Public Relations Secretary,Alhaji Shamsideen Owolabi Oseni said that the prayers will hold simultaneously across more than 360 NASFAT locations worldwide, making the celebration not just a reflection of history but a call for divine guidance and renewal.

    According to him,the society has chosen Sunday, October 5th, 2025, during its weekly Asalatu program, as the special day of intercession.

    This initiative is designed to seek Almighty Allah’s mercy on the nation, its leaders, and its citizens. Prayers will focus on stability, economic growth, justice, and security, highlighting NASFAT’s conviction that spiritual intervention is crucial for national transformation.

    In the same vein, the President of NASFAT, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf,has congratulated Nigerians on the landmark anniversary and extended warm greetings to members of the society globally.

    He described the Independence Anniversary as a reminder of both Nigeria’s challenges and its remarkable resilience, urging citizens to remain hopeful and committed to building a stronger nation.

    In his message, the President praised the efforts of Nigerians who continue to contribute to nation-building despite daunting circumstances.

    Alhaji AbdulRauf reaffirmed NASFAT’s mission of promoting peace, discipline, and social responsibility as pathways to sustainable development.

    Chief Missioner of NASFAT, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, led the prayer declaration for the occasion. He prayed for wisdom for leaders, relief for workers, and prosperity for citizens, calling on all Nigerians to complement prayers with righteousness and good deeds.

    The pace setting global Islamic society, Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has successfully concluded its inaugural National Executive Council (NEC) meeting with the Ogun Zonal leadership at the Ijemo Branch in Abeokuta.

    This gathering marked a significant milestone in strengthening unity, accountability, and collaboration across the society’s expanding frontiers.

    Investigator news reports that the NEC meeting is aimed to ensure transparent stewardship,foster collective problem-solving and deepen the bond between NASFAT headquarters, zones, and branches nationwide.

    The Ogun Zonal executives, ably led by Alhaji Asfat, hosted the NEC members with warm hospitality and vibrant participation.

    The interactive session created a forum for open dialogue, innovative ideas, and solutions tailored to the unique needs and aspirations of the zone.

    Investigator news gathered that the meeting coincided with the launch of a new NASFAT group at Adeun Spypye, located behind Crescent University, Abeokuta, demonstrating the society’s growing influence,spiritual impact and commitment to spreading beneficial Islamic values.

    The founder and senior pastor of Miracle Centre Cathedral, Kampala, Robert Kayanja, has described Dr Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Centre as a “messenger sent by God to this generation.”

    Speaking on the first night of the ongoing Healing and Deliverance Crusade in Uganda, hosted by Dr Paul and Dr Mrs Becky Enenche, Kayanja expressed gratitude for the couple’s ministry and their decision to serve God despite their medical background.

    “We are privileged because God has allowed him to come to Uganda at such a time like this. He has come because of his passion to pray for the sick, to teach and to preach. But I feel in my heart he has come for you pastors,” Kayanja told the crowd.

    The Ugandan preacher recalled visiting the Enenche ministry when it was still young, noting that the faith and anointing on their lives were unmatched.

    He described Dr Enenche as a dynamic teacher, prolific writer, and a pastor whose impact extends beyond Nigeria to West Africa, the continent, and the world.

    “When you look at the Glory Dome in Abuja, that church can’t succeed unless the man has a gift, a calling, a wonderful partner, and a special grace,” Kayanja said, adding that the Enenche family, including their daughter, embodies a model of faith, miracles, and strong Christian marriage.

    “They are not only great pastors, but they are the front gate introducing Christianity to the whole world which visits Nigeria. I don’t know how many ambassadors of different countries they have touched. I don’t know how many local people they have turned into global voices.

    “They were medical doctors who chose to serve the Lord from their humble beginning. When it comes to sing and dance, I don’t think I know anybody else. In fact, I don’t know whether we should exchange joints, I give you one joint and you give me another one. When it comes to miracles, signs and wonders. When it comes to the marriage, the anointing has even gone to their daughter.

    “If you have ever seen a family you want to emulate, it is them. If I stay here to introduce you, I’ll spend a whole evening. This is not just a ministry of the gospel. This is a messenger sent by God to our generation for such a time like this.”

    The President of the Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society of Nigeria (NASFAT), Dr Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf FCS, joined dignitaries to celebrate First Class Muslim Graduates in Nigeria at a colourful ceremony hosted at the prestigious Radisson Blu Hotel, GRA Ikeja, Lagos.

    The event was organised by the Mind Foundation for Development, under the leadership of Dr Muiz Banire SAN, to recognise Muslim graduates who attained First Class honours and to honour distinguished figures committed to academic and spiritual development in the Nigerian society.

    Speaking at the occasion, Dr AbdulRauf applauded the graduates for their exceptional discipline, resilience, and pursuit of excellence.

    He noted that the combination of academic brilliance with moral uprightness remains central to building a prosperous and value-driven Muslim community.

    The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has issued a caution to Muslims and clerics worldwide against disparaging the noble companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

    In a press release signed by the National Public Relations Secretary,Alhaji Shamsideen Owolabi Oseni emphasized that Islam, as established in the Glorious Qur’an and Sunnah, commands complete obedience to Allah and His Messenger (SAW) and mandates love, respect, and honor for his companions (Sahabah – may Allah be pleased with them all).

    He noted that these noble companions were the pioneers of Islam, defenders of faith, preservers of the Qur’an and Sunnah, and transmitters of the religion to future generations.

    The Society declared unequivocally that abusing, hating, or slandering the Sahabah is un-Islamic and forbidden, with rulings ranging from grievous sin and hypocrisy to outright disbelief.

    Investigator news reports that respected Islamic scholars throughout history have unanimously described such actions as a sign of great spiritual loss and deviation.

    Quoting authentic narrations, NASFAT reminded Muslims of the Prophet’s saying:“The Ansaar: no one loves them but a believer and no one hates them but a hypocrite. Whoever loves them, Allah will love him, and whoever hates them, Allah will hate him.” (Bukhari 3672; Muslim 75).

    Classical scholars, including Imam Ahmad, Imam al-Tahhaawi, Abu Zar’ah al-Raazi, and Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah, all warned that maligning the companions shakes the very foundation of Islam.

    To demean them is to question the transmission of the Qur’an and Sunnah, an act that borders on disbelief.

    According to NASFAT, loving the companions is part of faith (iman), while hating them is a mark of hypocrisy and kufr. Allah Himself praised the Sahabah in the Qur’an, affirming His pleasure with them.

    Thus, no Muslim should harbor hatred or grudges against those whom Allah and His Messenger honored.

    The Society therefore calls on Clerics and scholars to guard their pulpits and teachings from divisive rhetoric against the Sahabah as Muslims worldwide,so as to strengthen their faith by loving and respecting both the Prophet’s family (Ahlul-Bayt) and his companions.

    Investigator news gathered that the Ummah at large to focus on unity, righteous deeds, and teachings that benefit both worldly and spiritual life.

    NASFAT concluded by reaffirming its mission as a global beacon of Islamic guidance, reminding all Muslims that salvation lies in adherence to the Qur’an, Sunnah, and the example of the righteous predecessors (Salaf-us-Salih), whose way was built on love and respect for the Prophet and his companions.

    Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, got agog yesterday as the pace-setting global Islamic society with over 360 branches, Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), made history with the launch of its landmark history book at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja.

    The event brought together a distinguished audience including the chief host, His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, Ministers, Ambassadors, former diplomats, the Comptroller-General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, and numerous dignitaries.

    Representing NAHCON Chairman/CEO Professor Abdullahi Saleh Usman, the Acting Head of Protocol, Shamsudeen Abba, conveyed NAHCON’s admiration for NASFAT’s enduring service in faith, education, and humanitarian causes. The launch reflected a deep sense of pride in the society’s 30-year journey.

    In his welcome address, NASFAT President, Dr. Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf FCS, described the publication as “a living testimony” to NASFAT’s vision, resilience, and spiritual commitment since its founding in 1995. He traced its transformation from a small prayer group in Lagos to a global movement with over 360 locations worldwide.

    The Sultan of Sokoto, in his goodwill remarks, warmly applauded NASFAT for its remarkable contributions to moral guidance, social development, and peaceful coexistence. He praised the society’s dedication to education, youth empowerment, and community service, affirming its relevance to national unity and progress.

    Dr. AbdulRauf also expressed heartfelt thanks to the Ministers of Marine and Blue Economy, Health, Education, the Attorney-General of the Federation, VIPs, Ambassadors, the press, and NASFAT members. He encouraged generous support toward NASFAT’s social impact projects, including Fountain University and the NIC Mosque Project.

    The event was both a celebration of NASFAT’s heritage and a renewed pledge to uphold its mission—serving faith, fostering unity, and inspiring future generations.
