    Harvest Of Celebrating The Light With Thanksgiving.

    ” Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise”.(Psalm 50:1)This was actually what members of Assemblies of God Church Nigeria, Ejigbo 2(Transformation center) Lagos did when they had their 2024 Annual harvest /Thanksgiving at the church premises.

    It was indeed a day of joy, fun and happiness as they gathered to celebrate this year harvest as it was regarded as the best way to enter into the new month to the end of the year.

    The event which was a one week event with the theme”Celebrating the light with thanksgiving”saw the members appearing in different attires as they dance.with rhythmic gyration exuding great energy as if there will not be another of such event. The praise singers as usual were not found wanting as they kept churning out melodious gospel songs as Assemblies of God Church, Ejigbo 2 is known for it dexterity when it comes to celebrating God.

    Admonishing the congregation, the resident pastor of the church,Rev Tim Paul (PhD), described harvest as a means  of reminding  christians of the second coming of Jesus Christ, when the sheeps will be separated from the goats.

    He described harvest as an expression of gratitude to God , noting that it is an eventful period established by  those of old to give glory to God for the grace to harvest.

    Rev Tim Paul told members of the church to generously give to God and humanity if they want economic breakthroughs in their lives.

    Speaking on the theme, ‘Celebrating the light with thanksgiving”,’ the anointed man of God reminded the Church that God has done great and marvelous things which requires thanksgiving to God almighty, stating that in thanking him,he will do something great in their various life because givers never lack good things from the hands of God and also from men.

    “God has done us great things and we cannot end this year without thanking God almighty,to many this year has been without challenges and troubles but for me and my family this year has been the best year as l have experience God’s faithfulness in my life and my entire family”

    ” He kept us alive and most of our expectations God answered it,so for this reason we need to thank God for his faithfulness ” he submitted

    The Evangelist with a difference concluded his sermon with a prophetic declaration of financial explosion on the congregation.

    Speaking with investigator news,the wife of the Rev minister,Rev Mrs Prisca Tim Paul opined that the essence of the one week program was to thank God for his faithfulness and what he has done in the lives of individuals through.

    She noted that as an individual God as the light has transformed her life in various categories ” God has faithful to me and my family, just this year alone,l was able to graduate over 100 people in conjunction with the local government in various skills through my empowerment program,l received two awards from two different prestigious universities,God kept and protected my husband and children and the entire members of this great assembly,in short God has been faithful “she stated

    Also speaking,the Chairman of the harvest committee, Deacon Akpan Joseph stated that people are celebrating the light that God has bestowed upon them despite the difficulties and the situation of the country.

    Deacon Akpan who is the church secretary he noted that God has done marvelous things,as people have been traveling out of the country and God also promoting so many individuals

    He noted that in 2025,God will increase any individual, transformed him , position them in so many.

    He said “God has done marvelously things. One unique thing is that the district superintendent came to visit the church since his assumptions.

    Lending her voice,the President Women’s ministry,Deaconess Mrs Ogechi Agu appreciated the goodness of God upon the lives of the women in the local assembly, pointing out that God has kept all the women throughout especially in child bearing and helping them in their various businesses.

    ” I want to thank God almighty for his sustenance, guidance and provision upon our lives and the entire women’s ministry. He has kept and provided for us, this year none of our women died through child birth,God established those that are not doing anything and for them doing businesses,God gave them increase,so we are grateful to God almighty”

    ” For me,God has been faithful, protecting me and family, giving I and my husband promotion in our various area of endeavor and blessing us financially and healthwise

    Sir Chima says that this year thanksgiving is a special year for him as God has been so good to him since January till date, noting that God specifically established him and give the grace to achieve his dreams, while praying that will grant him more of his desire come next year.

    Deacon Daniel Ogbonna Uneke stated that God has given him and his family good health and provision of his grace.

    “I am grateful to God almighty for his protection and guidance over my life and that of my family and l have this strong conviction that come next year it will be greater because God will favor me and the entire church”

    He went further to urge all the members to always celebrate Christ with the sincerity of the heart in whatever they are doing.self Sister Chidinma Okererafor opined that God has been faithful providing for her and her entire family.

    Chidinma who is the president of young singles ministry went further to acknowledge God’s faithfulness, love towards the department as most of their members got admission this year,got job opportunities and good health, praying that God will enrich and cloth all of them next year.

    Deaconess Akpan Grace said that God has done great and mighty things in her family, stating that the year 2024 God transformed her family and business in every ramification, praying that 2025 will certainly come with an increase.

    The President of the Men’s ministry Bro Moses Mpama appreciated God’s goodness and mercy upon the lives of the men,he noted that God blessed the men in diverse ways which include promotion in their place of work,increase in their businesses ,good health and establishing most of them financially.

    Highlight of the event was special thanksgiving by different groups, departments and individuals over what God has done for them and to thank him for the coming year.

    Investigator news reports that Blessed family won and retained the 2024 annual harvest cup.

    The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, has urged Nigerians not to despair as the administration of President Bola Tinubu is working to resolve the country’s challenges.

    Dr. Obasa said this during the Assembly’s 22nd Annual Thanksgiving Service with the theme: ‘The Voice Of Mercy’.

    Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa and his colleagues during the 22nd annual Christian Thanksgiving Service of the Assembly on Friday.

    At the event which had officials from the various arms of the state government, members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), traditional rulers and guest preachers, the Speaker urged Nigerians to enter the year 2025 with renewed passion and vigour

    He said,”The outgoing year is indeed a challenging one, especially considering the economic situation of the country. Nevertheless, we have solace in the fact that the government of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR is not leaving any stone unturned to bring us to our promised land.”

    Quoting from various portions of the Bible, Dr. Obasa said the country had reasons to thank God for His mercies, love and faithfulness.

    “In times like these, when the world can seem overwhelming and uncertain, it is crucial to remember the enduring message of mercy and grace that is ever-present in our lives. Indeed, it is through God’s mercy that we find strength, solace, and renewal.

    “May we acknowledge God’s sovereignty and mercy in our lives, recognising that our blessings and successes are not solely the result of our efforts, but rather a manifestation of God’s mercy and compassion,” he said while urging citizens to also learn to show mercy to one another.

    Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs, Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire; Rt. Hon. (Dr) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa; Archbishop of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Lagos, during the 22nd annual Christian Thanksgiving of the Assembly on Friday.

    In his sermon, Most Rev. Isaac Ayo Olawuyi, Archbishop of the Methodist Church Nigeria (Lagos), urged Nigerians to be merciful to one another in line with God’s instruction.

    “When the mercy of God is upon you, all protocols are be broken. All things are possible by the mercies of God. We receive forgiveness of our sins from Him by His mercies. The nation needs God’s mercy and it is by His mercy that we can overcome our predicaments and our shortcomings.

    “How many people have you helped and taken care of? Go and show love and mercy,” he said.

    He praised the Speaker for his leadership and collaboration with the other arms of government saying these have kept the state strong.

    “You have been a true and sensitive leader with a big heart. You have proved yourself worthy. We pray that God will continue to use you to make us smile in Lagos and also grant you your heart desires,” he said while commending President Tinubu for the steps he has taken so far.

    The Archbishop ended his sermon with an advocacy for a Muslim as the governor of Lagos in 2027 arguing that this was in the spirit of religious tolerance.

    “I also want to add that we have consideration for religious inclination in Lagos State. It would be 12 years in 2027 that we have been in the system together and we have been having Christians as governors.

    The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has been plunged into mourning following the tragic loss of an entire family in a house fire in Ede, Osun State.

    ln a release signed by the National Public Relation Officer Alhaji Shamsideen Owolabi Oseni stated that the devastating incident has left the society and its members worldwide in shock, prompting an urgent call for prayers and support for the affected family.

    lnvestigator news reports that NASFAT has urged missioners globally to offer fervent prayers in memory of the deceased.

    The society emphasized the importance of supplications to seek Allah’s mercy and eternal rest for the souls of the departed, while also praying for the strength of their bereaved relatives.

    In response to this tragedy, the NASFAT Mission Board in Osun Zone has been instructed to mobilize Imams to visit the family’s residence.

    The Imams are tasked with providing moral, psychological, and spiritual support to the survivors and the larger community impacted by this incident.

    The release went further to say that the NASFAT President, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf has expressed deep sorrow, consoling the family and calling on members to intensify prayers.

    Chief Missioner, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, also urged all NASFAT Imams to recite Suratul Kahf to seek divine protection for members worldwide and solace for the affected.

    Amid this tragedy, it has been confirmed that a 13-year-old son of the family survived. NASFAT prays for his recovery and strength while asking Allah to forgive the departed and comfort the bereaved.

    The National Leadership of Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on Tuesday, 12th November 2024.

    This visit aligns with NASFAT’s LEAD agenda, a core directive by the President to drive leadership, education, advocacy, and development within the society.

    Investigator news gathered that the delegation was led by NASFAT’s BOT Secretary, Oloye Remi Babalola, and National Council of Elders member, Alhaji Ibrahim B. Bello.

    During the meeting, Alhaji Babalola commended the Minister’s impressive contributions to the Interior Ministry and his support for humanity. Alhaji Bello offered prayers for the Minister and NASFAT’s President, seeking Allah’s guidance and blessings for their work toward national advancement.

    Earlier, Alhaji Kabir Raji, NASFAT National Ex-Officio, introduced the delegation on behalf of the NEC. The delegation included Engr. Muhydeen Alimi, NASFAT Projects Secretary; Dr. Nasir Raji-Mustapha, Zonal Chairman of NASFAT FCT; and Hajia Folashade Abdussalam, FCT Zonal Education Secretary. Representing the youth were Zonal Youth Secretary Bro. Abdulqoyyuum Adelakin and Zonal Youth Ameerah Sis Rukayyat Baba-Ahmed.

    The Honourable Minister expressed appreciation for the visit and recognized NASFAT’s significant role since its establishment in 1995. He noted that NASFAT has contributed immensely to promoting Islam’s values, fostering interfaith understanding, and positively impacting society.

    Hon. Tunji-Ojo went further to extend congratulations to NASFAT on its upcoming 30th anniversary, scheduled for February 2025.

    He expressed his eagerness to join the society in celebrating its achievements and looks forward to attending the NASFAT History Book launch in Abuja.

    The encomiums and tributes that greeted the 53rd birthday celebration of the Resident Pastor of Assemblies Of God Church, Ejigbo 2 Section, transformation center,Lagos,will continue to linger on in the minds of the celebrant and his family as dignitaries, ministers of the gospel, Christian leaders from all walks of life joined the church to celebrate Rev Tim Paul PhD as he celebrate.

    The event also featured several testimonies and impact the Rev Minister made on guest especially on the growth of the church and propagation of the gospel,as several people could not resist pouring encomium on the celebrant.

    The celebration commenced with a church service where the guest speaker Ambassador Anyanso Azu Ude spoke on the topic “Walking in the light of his salvation”,he took his scripture from the book of 1st John 1:5-7, Psalm 119:1-5 and lsiaha 60: 20.

    Ambassador Azu Ude stated that the impact of light in ones life brings orderliness and when the light of God comes into the life of any individual, ideas and creativity will come.

    He noted that God’s light also brings about holiness and divine truth, while urging every individual to be the carrier of that light.

    On the celebrant, Ambassador Anyanso opined that Rev Tim Paul is a man of God who never says no to failure,one who is determined to succeed because he is carrying the light, which is the nature of God.

    Encomiums On Rev Timpaul 

    Speaking to Investigator news,the church secretary of Assemblies of God Church, Ejigbo 2, Deacon Akpan Joseph describe the celebrant as one who is passionate with the things of God and winning souls to Christ,noting that Rev Tim Paul hate to see people suffering as he has the passion to bring out people from poverty through the preaching of the word of God and through hardwork.

    “Rev Timpaul (JP)is someone l hold in high esteem,he is a goal getter and he is so passionate of people living well because he hates to see people suffer. My prayers for him today is that God will strengthen him, give him sound health and wisdom to continue the work he has called him for”

    The Sectional Men President and President of the Men’s fellowship, Brother Mpama Moses opined that Rev Timpaul has transformed the church financially,materially, spiritually and physically since he took over as the resident pastor, praying that God will give him more celebration.

    “Apart the fact that he is my lovely husband,he is also a great man of God because there is a special grace on him as a priest. My prayers for him is that God will keep us no power will separate us,as he celebrate today,he will live longer and prosper than his father and God that has brought him to this new stage will announce him and the name of the Lord will be glorified ”

    Rev John Nwachukwu, resident pastor of Assemblies of God Church,ldimu palace, Ejigbo 2 Section stated that he has known the celebrant for years and can be described as one who wants the best for every individual around him.

    “He is a good husband,a transformer and well grounded in the word of God. He is someone who never give up until he succeeds, a goal getter and an achiever. I wish him God’s guided longevity, that longevity only God can give,he will have live long and continue to do the work of God,he will never experience any shipwreck in his ministry ”

    His counterpart, Pastor Emmanuel Okonkwo of the Assemblies of God Church,idimututu, Ejigbo 2 section noted that Rev Timpaul is a sincere man, very intelligent and consistent in whatever he does.

    ” He is someone who  honors relationship and loves keeping good relationship with people. He is a die hard lover of God and his work,a man with reputable character, worthy of emulation,a goal getter and a man full of wisdom. My prayers for him today is that he will continue to be a good influencer in the body of Christ as he will have God’s longevity over his life “.

    Mr Ngozi Azaoro states that he sees God first before anything and he is someone who takes the burden of others upon his shoulders”

    Mr Samuel Nweke,a childhood and bosom friend pointed out that he is known for his zeal in prayers,a great evangelist and one who is trustworthy.

    Nweke who is the CEO of seamless food limited went further to state that Rev Timpaul is described by many as burden bearer as he always puts smiles to those who are around him.

    ” He is someone who tells that he is praying for you, just go and relax, Timpaul would take up the case and God has been answering him because he is a prayer warrior who don’t joke with the things of God,my prayers for him is that God will keep him strong and he will continue to advanced.”

    Evangelist lsreal Ogbonna Akanchanwa describe him as a mentor,a friend,a man of the people,one who respect people and fear God. I pray that God will keep him with wisdom and above all, not to miss heaven because l know that he will continually be announced”they all submitted.

    The highly elated celebrant,Rev Timpaul (JP)says he feels excited, seeing most of his childhood and bosom friends, Christian leaders, Minister of the gospel come together to celebrate with him.

    Rev Timpaul who is also the Sectional leader of Assemblies of God Church, Ejigbo 2 stated that his celebration today has added another stage of life, a stage of positive daily happening that brings transformation all round life.

    He noted that,53 years of his life,has been God and have no reason to regret “serving God is the best thing that has ever happened to me and my prayers for myself is that in the next 7 years that i will 60 years ,it will be testimonies all through.”he stated.

    Highlight of the event was the cutting of the cake and prayers for Rev Timpaul and members of his family.

    Again, Nigerians have been urged not to be despondent in view of the current harsh economic realities playing the country, rather be optimistic because they are kings and priests unto God.

    The Senior Pastor in Charge of Assemblies of Church Nigeria, Bethel Arena, Ejigbo 2 Lagos,Rev Evang.Tim Paul(PhD)stated this on Sunday,27 October,2024, while admonishing the congregation advise Nigerians not to put their trust in any man but rather believe in God for a miracle in their present situation.

    Rev Tim Paul who spoke on the topic “You are Kings and Priests Unto God”took his text from the book of Revelation 5:9-12, stated that God has given Nigerians seven breakthroughs such as power,riches, wisdom, strength, honor,glory and blessings to rule as king and priests here on earth.

    The cleric noted that the present economic challenges being faced in the country is temporary, while expressing optimism that the present ugly situation would not remain the same in the country,if only Nigerians would put their trust in God and see themselves as king and priests unto God that are meant to rule here on earth.

    “For so many years, many Nigerians have put their confidence and trust in man and the government of the day and what did receive in return, disappointment and failure.No man can help you in this present economic situation of the country except God”

    “Because Nigerians has failed to realize who they are in Christ Jesus,to understand the fact that the lamb that was worthy has lifted us to become kings and priests unto God and has given us power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessings to have dominion over every situation and challenges that we are facing toda, Nigerians have continued to suffer”

    “Your lives will not remain the same as you put your trust and faith in God, because God will manifest his unconquerable, unchallengeable and unchanging power in the lives of his people,we should have hope as there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. We should not look at the economy but look up to God.”he stated

    Rev Dr Tim Paul who is described by many as an apostle of wisdom went further to state that God has told him to inform Nigerians that come 2025,if Nigerians would amend their ways,put their trust in him,”he will bring a divine shift in their situation, give them a sit of honor starting from now to the end of the year because he has heard their cry and see their sufferings.”

    The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT)has congratulated Professor Is-haq Oloyede, a distinguished scholar and administrator, on his 70th birthday and retirement from an illustrious academic career.

    In a congratulatory message by the NAFSAT President Alhaji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Shamsideen Owolabi stated that Oloyede who is known for his international repute,has been a close ally of NASFAT President Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf and Chief Missioner Imam Maroofdeen Abdul-Azeez Onike.

    He went further to state that as a pragmatic registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and former Vice Chancellor of the prestigious University of Ilorin, Professor Oloyede has made significant contributions to Nigeria’s education system. His reforms at JAMB, particularly in ensuring transparency and accountability, earned him widespread acclaim.

    The NASFAT President Alhaji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf hailed Professor Oloyede as an uncommon leader and a great ambassador of Islam.

    “His remarkable achievements in education and unwavering commitment to Islamic principles make him a role model for all Muslims,” AbdulRauf said.

    The pace-setting global Islamic society, Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), has officially unveiled its 30th-anniversary logo, with Salmon Salimoh Adebusayo from Ijebu-Ode Branch emerging as the winner of the competition.

    Salmoh, a 23-year-old graduate of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development from the University of Ilorin, was praised for her creativity and innovation in designing the winning logo.

    The logo competition, which saw 26 participants from different branches, was coordinated by NASFAT President Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf and led by the energetic 30th Anniversary Planning Committee, chaired by Alhaji Isiaq Kayode Oshinuga. The committee’s efforts in organizing the event were highly commended by all attendees.

    Jamiu Babatunde Lawal from Kaduna Branch emerged as the first runner-up, while Al-Imam Saleem Abdulwahab Albayany from Shibiri Branch took the second runner-up position. The top three winners were also presented with cash gifts, adding a tangible reward to their creative efforts.

    During the award ceremony, certificates and dummy cheques were handed over to the winners by notable NASFAT leaders, including Oloye Remi Babalola (BOT Secretary), Alhaji Tunde Seriki (National Vice Chairman of the Council of Elders), and Alhaja Ganiat Babalola.

    The unveiling of the anniversary logo marks the beginning of NASFAT’s preparations to celebrate 30 years of impactful service to the global Islamic community. The competition has brought excitement and pride to the society as it anticipates its milestone anniversary in 2025.

    The pace-setting global Islamic society, Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), has announced plans for a Special Joint Tahajjud event for its members in Lagos and Ogun states. With the theme *“Surely, I am very near”* (Qur’an 2:186), the spiritual lead of NASFAT, Imam Maroofdeen Abdul-Azeez Onike (Chief Missioner), promises an enriching spiritual experience. The event will take place at the Lagos State Secretariat Mosque, Alausa-Ikeja, on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 10 p.m.

    The joint Tahajjud will gather members from the six zones across Lagos and Ogun, including NASFAT’s headquarters and 89 branches. The night promises to be filled with spiritual activities and prayers. Fadilat As-Shaykh Salman Abdul-Majeed Alawiye Alawaye, the guest lecturer, will deliver an insightful lecture on the topic *“Living and Volunteering for Allah.”*

    NASFAT President, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, emphasized the importance of prayer in overcoming global economic challenges. He encouraged members to seize this moment of spiritual reflection to testify that Allah is always near, especially during life’s darkest moments.

    The Chairman of the Joint Tahajjud Planning Committee, Alhaji Engr. Mustapha Alabi, assured participants of top-notch security and logistics throughout the event. He highlighted the committee’s preparations to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees before, during, and after the programme.

    The NASFAT joint Tahajjud is set to be a spiritually uplifting event that aligns with the society’s core mission of promoting spiritual growth, charity, and community development.

    The President of the pace setting Global Islamic society, Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf has extends heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Kadir Obafemi Hamzat, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
