    The NASFAT Youth Wing under the leadership of Bro. Tajudeen Olasupo (NASFAT Youth Secretary) paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Kano, His Royal Highness Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Thursday 12,September 2024 being part of the opening activities for this year NASFAT Youth Conference tagged Kano 2024.

    The visit is aimed at promoting the Society’s vision and mission as well as the Youth Commitment to foster Social and Economic development while aligning with both Islamic principles and global initiatives like the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

    The delegation who were warmly received by the Emir and his Council members at the Kano Emirate Palace,led by the NASFAT Youth, Bro. Tajudeen Olasupo alongside other YNEC members, the NYC CPC, and other Stakeholders of the society,expressed the Youth gratitude for the audience given by the Emir.

    The Youth Secretary outlined the importance of engaging traditional and religious leaders on Youth empowerment, as they hold significant influence in shaping societal values and policies.

    The National Amir went further to reiterate the Youth vision and mission which amongst others include Empowerment through Education and Entrepreneurship training.

    He emphasized the Youth primary mission which conforms with NASFAT theme (LEAD), that is Leadership, Education,Advocate of change and Dawah,stating how crucial the four areas are for socio-economic growth of the nation and Islam.

    Bro. Olasupo Tajudeen did not leave out in his presentation the NASFAT Youth commitment and active role in community development, highlighting amongst other initiatives of the Wing which includes Poverty alleviation programs, Education for all, Environmental sustainability and the Youth alignment with Global Goals such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with particular interest in areas of quality education, gender equality, and climate action.

    The Emir, in his address, praised the NASFAT Youth wing for their proactive engagement in issues of National Development. He acknowledged the importance of the role of young people in Nation development.

    His Royal Highness encouraged the Youth to stay focused on their goals, leveraging both modern knowledge and Islamic principles to build a prosperous future.

    The Emir spoke passionately on the need for youth to rise above societal challenges like unemployment and underemployment by embracing entrepreneurship and innovation.

    He assured the NASFAT Youth of his full support and commended their alignment with the SDGs, which represent a global framework for peace, prosperity, and sustainable development.

    In recognition of his commitment to youth development and sustainable progress, the NASFAT Youth Secretary decorated HRH Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as an ambassador for the NASFAT SDG project.

    Investigator news reports that the Emir’s new role as an SDG Ambassador is to further enhance the Youth participation in achieving the 17 SDG goals through collaborative efforts with the Kano Emirate and beyond. To also promote NASFAT Youths initiatives across the Globe, and to ensure an increase in the visibility and support for the Youth activities.

    Highlight of the event was the decoration of HRH Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as an ambassador for the NASFAT Youth SDG project, symbolizing his role in supporting Youth aspirations for a better future.

    The President of Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), Alhaji AbdulWahid Ayodeji AbdulRauf, extends his heartfelt condolences, on behalf of the pace setting Global Islamic society, to the Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai El-Kanemi, Alhaji Kashim Ibrahim-Imam, and the entire people of Borno State over the recent flood disaster that claimed lives and caused widespread destruction.

    In a release signed by the National Publicity Relation Secretary,Alhaji Shamsideen Owolabi Oseni stated that Alhaji AbdulRauf offers prayers for the affected families and reminds all of the comforting words of Allah in the Qur’an, “Verily, with hardship comes ease” (Qur’an 94:6).

    He encourages the people of Borno to hold steadfast to their faith, trusting that Allah’s divine wisdom will bring relief and strength.

    “We pray for Allah’s mercy on those who have lost their lives and His protection over the displaced. May He grant the people of Borno the resilience to overcome these challenges,” he said.

    Citing another verse, “And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me” (Qur’an 2:186), the NASFAT President assures the people that Allah’s presence is near in every challenge they face.

    Alhaji AbdulRauf went further to commends the ongoing efforts by the Borno State Government and other stakeholders in managing the crisis and providing relief to the victims.

    The President of Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Air Vice Marshal Ibrahim Oluwatoyin, a distinguished member of the NASFAT Security Strategic Committee, on his recent appointment as the Chief of Defence Space Administration.

    In his congratulatory message, the NASFAT President highlighted the pivotal role Air Vice Marshal Ibrahim has played in various NASFAT security operations. His instrumental contributions, bravery, and unwavering commitment to the Society’s safety initiatives have been exceptional, earning him recognition within the NASFAT community.

    Alhaji Ayodeji described the new appointment as a reflection of Air Vice Marshal Ibrahim’s dedication, expertise, and leadership in the defense sector, particularly in the realm of space technology. He commended the senior officer for his tireless efforts, which have now culminated in this prestigious achievement.

    In preparation for its 30th-anniversary celebrations in 2025, Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has launched a logo competition to mark this significant milestone.

    The official unveiling of the competition took place on Sunday, September 8, 2024, during the Asalatu service at the Lagos State Secretariat Mosque in Alausa.

    The event  was led by NASFAT President, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, who was represented by Vice President 1, Alhaji (Engr.) Kamardeen Olawuyi.

    The unveiling ceremony also saw the presence of the 30th-anniversary planning committee, headed by Alhaji Ishaq Kayode Oshinuga, with notable members including Alhaja Suwebat Kupilati, Alhaja Mariam Onifade, Alhaji AbdulRasheed Adeboye, and Alhaji Tijani Sulaimon as well as Alhaji Sheriffdeen Akinpelu.

    The logo competition serves as the kickoff to the series of events NASFAT has planned in celebration of its three-decade journey.

    The competition is open to both members and non-members of NASFAT, encouraging broad participation across the community. Alhaji Olawuyi, speaking on behalf of the President, emphasized the significance of the logo in encapsulating NASFAT’s vision and mission as it continues to lead the way as an agent of change.

    Participants in the logo competition are invited to create designs that reflect the anniversary theme, “Leading the Way: NASFAT as an Agent of Change.”

    Investigator news reports that to enter, participants must post their logo designs on NASFAT’s official social media platforms, accompanied by a 20-second video that explains the connection between the logo and the anniversary theme. The use of the hashtag #NASFAT@30 is mandatory for all entries.

    To further engage participants, NASFAT has announced that the top three designs will receive exciting prizes. The submission process is made accessible across multiple digital platforms. Participants can submit their entries via direct messages on Instagram and Facebook, private chat on TikTok and YouTube, or through a dedicated WhatsApp line and email. Collaboration with NASFAT on social media posts, particularly on Instagram, is encouraged to maximize visibility.

    The unveiling of the logo competition was met with enthusiasm from both the leadership and the planning committee. Alhaji Ishaq Kayode Oshinuga, the planning committee chairman, expressed his confidence in the competition’s ability to galvanize creativity and community involvement in the anniversary celebrations. Other committee members, including Alhaja Kupilati, Alhaja Onifade, Alhaji Adeboye, and Alhaji Sulaimon, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the importance of the competition in setting the tone for the upcoming festivities.

    A deepening crisis is threatening the peace and stability of Ogbomoso, as the actions of Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Pastor Ghandi Olaoye Orumogege III, spark tensions within the Muslim community.

    The controversy, fueled by a disputed imamship, has seen the monarch attempt to remove the widely respected Grand Chief Imam, Dr. Teliat Yunus Ayilara II, despite two court injunctions restraining such action.

    The Palace’s continued intimidation and violence have escalated the situation, with reports of plans to:

    – Hijack the Central Mosque using military force.
    – Forcefully remove the Grand Chief Imam.
    – Use the old Eid ground as a makeshift mosque for the newly turbanned ‘Palace Imam’, sparking anarchy.

    Oba Ghandi’s provocative actions include:

    – Refusal to advise family dissidents to approach the Court of Law to prove their allegations.
    – Encouraging rebellion and making the palace available as a studio of sorts for recording provocative videos and casting aspersions on the personality of the Grand Chief Imam, Dr. Teliat Yunus, in flagrant disregard to the peace agreement facilitated by the Chairman, Ogbomoso North Local Government and the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters which advocated maintaining status quo.
    – Fuelling rebellion by mobilising palace chiefs, with his paraphernalia, as his representatives to a parallel Eid ground during Eidul Fitr celebration in open disdain to the gentleman agreement not to hold parallel ‘Eid prayer reached at the residence of Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland Edo and Delta state State Alhaji Daud Makanjuola Akinola, in the presence of the Deputy Governor, Barr. Bayo Lawal and all heads of security agencies in Oyo State.
    – Issuing baseless queries to the Imam for attending Hajj without his ‘permission’.
    – Turbanning a rival ‘Palace Imam’ without a Palace Mosque, thereby promoting division and subterfuge.
    – Delivering inflammatory speech, revealing a grand plot to oust the Grand Chief Imam Dr. Teliat Yunus and undermine Islam in Ogbomoso.

    The Muslim community is increasingly agitated, and community elders are making efforts to maintain peace. The followership of the Grand Chief Imam transcends all boundaries, making this a potential national security issue requiring swift attention.

    The Ogbomoso Muslim Community urges prompt intervention to prevent further escalation. We call on authorities to take immediate action to rein in the monarch and restore peace and stability to the community.

    The President of the globally recognized Islamic organization Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), Alhaji Dr. Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, paid a visit to the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) office in Kaduna oñ Friday,6th September,2024.

    The visit which underscored the commitment of both organizations to fostering unity and understanding among Nigeria’s diverse ethnic and religious groups,saw Alhaji Murtala Aliyu, the Secretary General of the ACF, warmly received the NASFAT delegation.

    He expressed his delight at the visit, emphasizing the forum’s readiness to collaborate with NASFAT in promoting unity, cooperation, tolerance, and understanding across the country , stating that the partnership aims is to strengthen the bonds among various communities and contribute to national peace.

    During the visit, the ACF Secretary General provided an overview of the forum’s functions and took the NASFAT delegation on a tour of the ACF facilities. He lauded NASFAT’s ongoing efforts in Da’awa, education, and empowerment, urging the organization to continue its impactful work that has touched many lives across Nigeria.

    Alhaji Dr. AbdulRauf used the opportunity to share the mission and vision of NASFAT, highlighting the society’s activities and future events, including the upcoming celebration of NASFAT’s 30th anniversary. He also introduced key NASFAT agencies, such as NAZAS, TIL, Fountain University, NMI, and NRI, outlining their contributions to the society’s overall objectives of fostering Islamic values and education.

    In addition to presenting their initiatives, NASFAT sought the support of the ACF for its various programs and events. Alhaji Dr. AbdulRauf reiterated NASFAT’s commitment to building bridges across tribes and regions, expressing the society’s willingness to partner with the ACF in promoting peace and unity across the nation.

    NASFAT President, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, has conveyed deep condolences to the Yar’Adua family on behalf of NASFAT stakeholders and members, following the passing of Hajiya Aya Dada Yar’Adua, the mother of former President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, at the age of 102.

    In his message, Alhaji AbdulRauf described Hajiya Aya Dada Yar’Adua as a prayerful mother whose life was imbued with positivity. He noted that her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of many across the nation.

    He assured the Yar’Adua family that the entire NASFAT community stands with them in this time of grief, sharing in their loss and offering prayers for comfort and strength. He highlighted the profound impact that Hajiya Aya Dada Yar’Adua had on those around her, leaving a legacy of faith and compassion.

    Alhaji AbdulRauf urged NASFAT members and the broader Muslim Ummah to remember the late Hajiya in their prayers, asking Allah to grant her Al-Jannah Firdaus and to comfort her family.

    He concluded by reiterating NASFAT’s solidarity with the Yar’Adua family, emphasizing the global sense of loss felt by all who knew and admired her.

    On Sunday, the Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) organized a heartfelt 3rd day Fidau prayer at the Blue Roof Event Center, Lagos Television, to honor the late CP AbdulWaheed Ayilara.

    The former Commissioner of Police for Akwa Ibom State and ex-National Security Secretary of NASFAT passed away last Thursday, leaving a legacy of dedicated service.

    The prayer event attracted police chiefs from various commands, as well as friends and associates of the late officer, who gathered to pay their last respects.

    Imam Maroofdeen Abdul-Azeez Onike, NASFAT’s Chief Missionary, led the prayer session and delivered an inspiring lecture titled “Preparing for the Inevitable Journey.” His words emphasized the importance of living a life aligned with faith and purpose, reminding attendees of the transient nature of life. The Deputy Chief Missionary, Imam AbdulLateef Bello, followed by leading special prayers for the departed soul, his family, and all those present.

    CP Ayilara, born in Lagos in the 1960s and originally from Ajayi Compound in Ijaye, Ogun State, had a distinguished educational background. After completing his early education in Lagos, he earned a law degree from the University of Ibadan, followed by advanced legal studies at the Nigerian Law School and the University of Lagos.

    His career in the Nigeria Police Force began on May 18, 1992, and was marked by numerous achievements. CP Ayilara underwent extensive training, both locally and internationally, including VIP protection courses in the United States and various FBI training sessions in Nigeria.

    Throughout his career, he held several key positions within the force, including Officer-in-Charge of the Legal Section in various states and commanding roles within the Police Mobile Force. His final posting as Commissioner of Police in Akwa Ibom State was a testament to his dedication and professionalism.

    The Fidau prayer served as a solemn occasion to reflect on CP Ayilara’s impactful career and the legacy he leaves behind. His contributions to the Nigeria Police Force and NASFAT will continue to resonate with those who knew and admired him.

    The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has taken a significant step towards empowering its members in the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) sector. The NASFAT President, Alhaji Ayodeji Abdulwahid AbdulRauf, led a delegation comprising the National Project Secretary, FCT Zonal Chairman Dr. Nasir Raji, and FCT Zonal Women Affairs Secretary Hajia Haleemat Kadiri, to visit the SMEDAN Head Office in Abuja.

    This visit aimed to establish a strategic partnership that would enable NASFAT members to access essential facilities and resources.

    SMEDAN, the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria, proposed a comprehensive partnership framework to enhance enterprise development among NASFAT members. Key areas of collaboration include the Enterprise Development Promotion (EDP) initiative and the SMEDAN Select program, which offers training in tailoring, cosmetology, furniture making, and household product manufacturing.

    These initiatives are designed to equip NASFAT members with vital skills and opportunities.

    Investigator news reports that  the partnership will open doors to the National Business Investment Opportunities, allowing members to leverage NEXIM Bank and NASAMA resources for exportation and trade. SMEDAN’s ‘My Shift’ program is also set to play a pivotal role in reshaping the entrepreneurial mindset of younger NASFAT members, encouraging them to pursue business ventures with innovative approaches.

    The partnership also includes specialized programs such as Talent Hunt, which aims to discover and reward youth with exceptional business ideas, and GROSS, a program dedicated to empowering members with disabilities who have business ideas. Moreover, the collaboration promises financial empowerment through loans with single-digit interest rates, as well as branding and packaging support for products to meet international trade standards.

    In addition, NASFAT members will benefit from agricultural farming programs and capacity-building initiatives that address post-harvest losses and promote food security. SMEDAN will provide these opportunities through its facilities in key locations across Nigeria, including the FCT, Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Edo, Kano, and Katsina.

    NASFAT President Alhaji Abdulwahid AbdulRauf emphasized the urgency for members to take full advantage of this partnership. The SMEDAN management has committed to providing access to their facilities, ensuring that NASFAT members can maximize their potential and actively participate in international trade.

    The Chairman Council of Ndieze Lagos state,Eze Ambassador Dr Chika .C. Nwokedi has called for more collaboration among security operatives in the campaign against insecurity in the country.

    Eze Ambassador Nwokedi made the call when he paid a courtesy visit to AlG Ogundele .J. Ayodeji of FCllD Alagbon on Wednesday,28, August,2024 to officially welcome the new AlG of FCllD Alagbon, Lagos.

    The visit which had in attendance nine Commissioners of Police,Deputy Commissioners of Police welcomed the monarch,his Vice chairman,Eze Jude Arinze and his entourage who were there to appreciate the efforts of the Nigeria Police force in their bid to eradicate insecurity in the state.

    Eze Nwokedi who is also the Eze Ndigbo of Ijegun/ljedeodo pledged the continued support of the lgbo speaking community in Lagos to police in securing lives and properties stressing that the synergy among security operatives was crucial towards addressing insecurity in the state.

    “I am here as the Chairman Council of Ndieze, Lagos state,to familiarize with your office and also commend the Nigeria Police personnel that protects and secure lives and properties,they are dutiful, in fact they are representing the country very well ”

    “This is over 30years of collaboration with the Nigeria Police and my love for the Nigeria Police is unsurmountable,l have known you for years and l know that with your expertise which is never in doubt,you will do well in your new role of assignment “he said.

    The philanthropist and community in his usual magnanimity gifted the AlG and his men, while praying for AlG Ayodeji and the Commissioners that God will bestowed them with wisdom and knowledge in securing lives and properties in the state.

    Responding,AlG Ayodeji Ogundele appreciated Eze Nwokedi and members of his entourage, assuring them of the Nigeria Police commitment in securing lives and properties.
