Omoyele Sowore, the convener of the RevolutionNow Movement, won the African Action Congress (AAC) presidential ticket for the 2023 election on Thursday.
At the party’s presidential primary in Abuja, the activist was re-elected unopposed.
Sowore also resigned as AAC national chairman shortly before the exercise began.
He ran for the party in the 2019 election and came in sixth place.
