On Wednesday, Adegboyega Oyetola, the governor of Osun State, described Bola Tinubu’s victory in the APC presidential primary as a reward for his selfless service to Nigeria.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, Oyetola said Tinubu’s election was a clear indication that the country was on the verge of democratic rejuvenation.
He then expressed confidence in Tinubu’s ability to lead the APC to victory in the 2023 presidential election, saying that the former Lagos governor would use his administrative skills to lead the country to unprecedented heights.
“Your emergence at our great party’s just concluded Presidential Primary is indeed a reward of your tireless efforts and selfless services to Nigeria, Nigerians, and, of course, humanity as a whole,” Oyetola said.
You are not only a leader of leaders, but also a brilliant politician who has used his God-given wisdom and wealth to better humanity and our beloved country’s socioeconomic fortunes.

“With your antecedents and outstanding credentials in both the private and public sectors, I have no doubt that your emergence will deliver victory for our party in all elections, as this will further justify the search for a candidate with unimaginable qualities that cut across spheres of life.”
Similarly, a group called Bola Ahmed Tinubu Our Choice 2023 claims that the APC presidential candidate has the political pedigree and other qualities necessary to successfully manage the country’s affairs.
In a statement, the group’s Director of Media and Publicity, Mr. Abimbola Tooki, praised the way the primary was conducted and urged aspirants and Nigerians to rally behind Tinubu in order for him to win next year’s presidential elections.
